We have lift off!

The manuscript is finally complete, off to the publisher's on Monday, ready for review on their desk by Wednesday.

Let's celebrate! This is 4 years of hard work.

Draft 2 of chapter 10

I just sent off the 2nd draft of chapter 10 tonight. It is very very very exciting! I am going to have some friends out for dinner to celebrate!!! The publisher should have the final manuscript on their desk in less than 2 weeks.

Chapter 9 is now complete

Hey guys!

(Above, me working on chapter 9, one Sunday afternoon, with the WHOLE house to myself!)

I have just officially completed chapter 9. I should be receiving draft 1 of chapter 10 back in the next few days. We should be ready for the publishers in the next few weeks.

I am going to invite a bunch of people out to dinner to help me celebrate when the book is finished. One Saturday night I think. Anyways, yoo hoo! See you later!

more progress. up to 2nd last chapter

Just got back chapter 9 tonight. Completely finished 1-8 now, and printed that off tonight. Yay!

It's up to chapter 8 now!

Hey guys! Progress has reached draft 2 of chapter 8, and there's only 10 chapters :)

It's getting really exciting! There's even the possibility of me getting picked up by an American agent who specialises in my area of writing, who might eventually be able to get me contracts with companies such as Zondervan and all those big american companies.. Woo-hoo! Never thought that would happen!

It is getting closer

Hi guys! It is so exciting... We have now finished all chapters up to and inlcuding chapter 7. It has gotten to the point where I will be very suprised if the book isn't picked up, and so I am tentatively making plans for the book launch. While I have the ideas flowing, I thought I should at least write them down. We are taking a break over the weekend, but back into the hard work once the weekend is over.
